Sustainability and the Role of the Strategic Partnership between MADEM GROUP and PRYSMIAN

MADEM held a presentation at COCESA / Prysmian Chile on “Sustainability and the Role of the Strategic Partnership between MADEM GROUP and PRYSMIAN”, bringing together approximately 50 participants, including Directors, Managers and technical professionals from Research & Development, Sustainability & Environment, Quality and Finance from Chile and Brazil.
A key focus was the global partnership between PRYSMIAN and MADEM GROUP, a long-standing relationship that today extends across different countries and regions worldwide.
The presentation highlighted how MADEM’s sustainability strategy can support Prysmian’s global goals, covering FSC® and PEFC-certified wood, circular economy and reel reuse, renewable energy, ESG practices, Greenhouse Gas Inventory, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and carbon neutrality across Scopes 1, 2 and 3.
Special attention was given to how MADEM’s carbon-neutral reels and measurable carbon data can contribute to Prysmian’s Scope 3 decarbonization goals and to building a more sustainable supply chain.
The event reinforced that the MADEM GROUP–PRYSMIAN strategic partnership goes beyond the supply of wooden reels, creating opportunities to jointly advance decarbonization, circular economy and responsible sourcing worldwide.
